"I'm writing this note to tell you not to expect a note."

My mother always told me, "If you can't do something right, don't do anything at all." Or maybe it was, "If you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all," but that sounded like way too much not saying things for my taste. I liked the first one better. And let me tell you, it has not led me astray, my friends.

And this is why I'm not writing a blog post today.
